Most projects follow a similar route through the approval system. We can pick up the brief at any stage — early concept, mid-design, or once a Development Application (DA) has been approved.
Initial review of the project — site context, building classification under the NCC, and the most appropriate approval pathway: Development Application (DA) or Complying Development Certificate (CDC).
Floor plans, sections and elevations developed against the brief. Accessibility, fire and statutory provisions considered at concept stage.
Pathway confirmed on evidence — DA, Complying Development Certificate (CDC) or another route. Pre-lodgement discussions with council or certifier as required.
Drawing set finalised, Statement of Environmental Effects (SEE) drafted for DA or compliance statements prepared for CDC, with supporting consultant reports coordinated.
Case created on the NSW Planning Portal, documents uploaded to the relevant naming standards, fees and owner's consent attached, submission accepted by council or certifier.
Requests for information managed, conditions of consent addressed, and Construction Certificate (CC) documentation prepared from the approved drawings so construction can commence.
